I could not use the part. This was my fault. I did not look into it far enough. Mine is 6volt the one I ordered was 12 volt. I called them about this .they were great in handling it .they told me to send it back and they would refund me. I got my refund in a few days.

This distributor fits perfectly, looks great, was easy to install & makes my 1940 Ford flathead v8 run 100% better. It also gives me the option to fine tune the timing; which you are not able to do with the original distributor.

This a very nice well built distributor but this was ordered for me as a gift and it was for the wrong three bolt application. I returned it with no problems at all and ordered the correct one.

I recently purchased and installed the 32-41 Ford Flathead 3 Bolt Electronic Distributor on my 81 T Flathead V8. Now my battery keeps going dead. My question is how many amps are being drawn by this distributor. Note - I had my generator and voltage regulator checked out. Thanks in advance for any info.

i purchased this 1932-41 3 bolt distributor for my project car and im trying to get the other parts needed to install it. im a little confused with the install instructions supplied with the unit. Im converting my generator to 12 volts and an external voltage regulator has to be used as well. it says that if the flamethrower 1.5 ohm coil is used then a ballast resistor is not required but in the install instructions supplied with the distributor it shows a ballast resistor in figure #1 and it also shows a control box too. so im confused? should this unit be installed like in figure #2 but with the ballast resistor removed and the square coil shown changed to the flame thrower coil (part# 44745011)

I am thinking of fitting one of these distributors to my 1940 ford V* flathead. Currently it uses a Divers Helmet twin points system which has a vacuum from the manifold to the distributer. What do I do with this vacuum? Thanks in Advance
