These quality reproduction 1930-1931 Model A hood latches are spring loaded and come in a gloss black finish. They feature a two-hole mounting bracket and they mock the original style for a perfect look and latch every time. This latch mounts to the frame easily with two screws.

Exactly what I wanted
I actually bought this for a 1946 American Moto-scoot scooter I am rebuilding. It is exactly like the one that originally held the trunk closed.

Works for my application
I used this part on a custom build VW. This part should come with retainer clips but does not so I was forced to order part number 911-32501 just for the clips so it all cost me twice as much and now have parts I don't need. If you don't need the clips then I would recommend the parts.
