If it doesnt fit your cowl, then your body is out of square.

the part was not smooth when chromed. lots of little nicks shows in chome.

Price is crazy for the fit and finish.

For starters the kit does not fit. Chrome is pitted. Mounting hardware to short. Would not recommend to anyone. First product problem ever from Speedway. What a let down.

Looks great on my bucket

This is a toughie to talk about. The w/s unit as a whole looks great with the rods attached. However, placement is critical path. While these are claimed to fit a '26-'27 roadster bucket, it takes a lot of body work to get the fit needed for this. This might fit an original, but the Spirit Ind. glass body remake takes work and time, and money. Once you get past getting it fitted right on the body, and the w/s frame installed, it looks great. The drawback to this is that the frame pivots at the upper portion of the frame. On the bottom, they supply two different sizes of the rubber insert to fit between the frame and the cowl area. However, this does not stop the w/s from pushing inward as you ride around. And the rubber insert is only an air dam, it will not stop the frame from pushing inward to you. At 55 mph, in came back about 3". There should be some sort of way that this frame can be stabilized at the lower end. Am having to be creative with this but I believe we have come up with something that can be utilized.
