Speedway Motors 9116021 Details

These partial finned oval air cleaner assemblies are available with a polished aluminum finish in a 15" long housing. They are designed for use with most stock and aftermarket carburetors with a 5-1/8" diameter carb neck, as featured on most Carter, Edelbrock, Holley, Rochester, and Quadrajet four barrel carburetors.  These air cleaners also feature an aluminum raised base to raise the air cleaner above the carb flange.

For race/ off road use or for use on pre-1966 vehicles.

Emissions warning: this part only legal for sale or use in California for racing (competition) vehicles which may never be used, registered, or licensed for use upon a public highway, or if installed in vehicles model-year 1965 or older; motorcycles model-year 1977 or older; or off-highway recreational vehicles (such as off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles) model-year 1996 and older. Any other use renders the vehicle tampered and not legal for use on California public highways (any public street or roadway, public dirt road, public park, or publicly maintained right of way open to the use of the public for vehicular travel). This air cleaner was just what we what we wanted to sit on top of our carburetor. The fin design goes well with the fins on our valve covers. The oval shape looks much better than our old round one. We were mighty pleased to show it off at a recent car show we attended.
