Keep the air entering your engine clean with our chrome plated steel air cleaners. They feature a raised base and have a 10 inch diameter.  These air cleaners have a chrome plated steel housing with a paper filter element.

It's a great product for a great price

It's a good air cleaner assembly and I don't have many complaints about it, it looks nice and does what it's supposed to but my one critique would be the stud for it, it didn't fit so I had to get the 9 inch stud so I'd like if you could select a size of the stud for it. Other then that it's great

It works...

I got this to use on my Cutlass Supreme that I installed a Chevy 350 in. I have an Edelbrock Performer intake and Carburetor, and it fit fine, and didnt impair the throttle linkage. The included mounting stud is too short, but a piece of 1/4-20 all thread fixed that issue. There is an opening in the bottom that I'm assuming is for the crankcase vent hose, but I'm not using that. It would be nice if a plug for that hole was provided as I'm sure I'm not the only one that didnt need that feature and therefore had to come up with a solution to plug it.

The stud that threads into Edelbrock carburetor is too short by 1-1/2". Does not come with a plug/cap for bottom piece for vacuum line. Other than that it's an air cleaner that will give you room on these narrow old trucks that don't have that much room under the hood.

Interference problem with my automatic choke housing My automatic choke housing is about 1/2" higher than the carburetor flange. Will this air cleaner clear It? On many air cleaners, the base drops down and won't clear the choke housing.

Fit and Filters Does "raised base" mean "recessed" down over the carburetor like many 14 inch air cleaners? Any issues with Rochester Quadrajet secondary air valve control mount? Will the Fram CA192 (nominally 10 inch) filter fit properly (ID and OD)?
