What's in the Box

Fenton cast iron headers are one of the first steps to improved performance for your Chevy inline 6. These split manifolds are the only way to get that classic "rapping" exhaust note. For 1936-1959 Chevy 216-235-261 straight 6 engines.

Does not include collector flanges, collector gaskets or exhaust manifold gaskets.

The 216/235/261 Chevy Six was built from 1937-1962 in cars and trucks. Our tube steel headers allow you to run a split exhaust. If you wish to run exhaust heat to your intake manifold, these headers include welded-on bungs which can be used to pipe heat to your intake manifold. Includes manifold gaskets, collector gaskets, flanges for the dump tubes, and all hardware.

The 216/235/261 Chevy Six was built from 1937-1962 in cars and trucks. Our tube steel headers allow you to run a split exhaust. Includes manifold gaskets, collector gaskets, flanges for the dump tubes, and all hardware. These ceramic coated headers provide superior performance and durability.

Offenhauser Triple Carb intake manifolds provide a nostalgic appearance while equalizing fuel distribution to all cylinders, improving both performance and economy. With this lightweight cast aluminum manifold, your old "Stovebolt" will be more responsive across the RPM range. Use with two carburetors (2-5/8" bolt centers) typical of 1937-52 Chevys.

  • Fits 235 Chevy 6-cylinders
  • 1937-52 engines w/ Manual Transmission

 

Included linkage kit is "non-progressive," meaning all three carbs operate at the same time.

With this lightweight cast aluminum manifold, your old "Stovebolt" will be more responsive across the RPM range. Use with two "big base" carburetors (2-15/16" bolt centers) typical of 1954-1962 Chevys.

Offenhauser 2731 1937-62 Chevy Six Cylinder Valve Cover
                        

We have these hard-to-find covers for your 1937-1962 Chevrolet 216, 235 and 261 engines. These Chevy 6 cylinder finned aluminum Offenhauser valve covers will shine up your old Stovebolt. 

NOTE: To use on 1954-1962 inline six head, you will need to supply a 1937-1953 style gasket, a pair of washers and stud seals typical of '37-'53, and a pair of acorn nuts to fit the long studs that come with the cover. This cover is a direct replacement for the 1937-1953 Chevy.

Includes manifold gaskets, collector gaskets, flanges for the dump tubes, and all hardware.

NOTE:   Headers are purposely relieved for additional clearance.

Note: Stainless header tubing when exposed to exhaust temperature will cause the finish to change color which will vary with the exhaust temperature. Please note that the finish of the header when the engine is started, will change to a light champagne color to a darker gold finish and in some instance may even turn dark blue or purple. This can be polished back out when utilizing Blue-away or Simi-chrome polish, but please note that when the headers reach running temperature again, they will immediately change color.
