Purchased this helmet for my son. He just started racing Quarter Midgets. Choose white as he wanted to add his own graphics. We also purchased a mirror Visor for racing in sunlight. It's very easy to swap between the clear and mirrored.

I was concerned about size as I had been using a large size Shoie but the fitment chart says that a Medium was the appropriate size. Got the medium and while snug it feels "right" and makes me think the Shoie was just a tad large. Other than that, good helmet, great price

Versatile helmet at a low price

This is my first helmet, I chose it because it had the most features among the low-priced entry-level helmets available. The helmet fit snugly, but not uncomfortably, but the cheek pads are a little too thick for me. Unfortunately, thinner cheek pads are not available for a M-sized helmet. I wear glasses and I eventually figured out to first put the helmet on, then press the top of the cheek pads down to create a gap on each side of my face, and finally put my glasses on by sliding the glasses arms into those gaps. The cheek pads and crown liner are both fully removable and washable. They are held in place by a snug fit and strips of velcro. Care is needed when removing and handling the cheek pads because the material isn't the most durable and the velcro may get pulled off from the helmet's shell. I also got the Z-20 series visor for fresh air and to reduce fogging up my glasses. It works and fits great, although some fogging can still happen. On paper, this was by far the cheapest helmet with removable cheek pads, removable liner, and could use a visor. In actual usage, the helmet delivered on all of these things and I'm completely satisfied. The construction may be simple and inexpensive, but clever and thoughtful design resulted in an amazingly functional product. It also came with a cloth bag.

Great helmet

I was trying to buy my son a bell helmet but they were all sold out. We waited for over a month. So we bought this one which one a lot cheaper then Bell. My son really loved it. In fact Bell ended up sending us a helmet after back ordered. My son had me return it because he liked this one so much better.

Great price for entry level helmet

For the price it's really good. I recommend it if trying to stay around entry level price. I also own a rz-70 while the rz-70 is far more comfortable (at twice the price) I wouldn't be upset if I was handed this helmet. This helmet also weights nothing it seems like.

Great product

Used this helmet for a full weekend of auto cross and 3s competition. It was comfortable and cool all weekend.
