The new Series 2A has new features never seen before in the Head and Neck Restraint market. These new Patent Pending Features include:

• Advanced Axis Adjustment allows you to adjust shoulder width, arm angle and arm width. Fits different body shapes and sizes and adjusts to different race seats.

• Dual Compound Frame Specialized Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon is used for the shoulder frame offering leading structural characteristics. Arms made with a Modified Alloy material give the device a dampening characteristic in a crash.  The two materials work together offering excellent performance.
• Stainless Steel Hardware screws and binary post built with high quality and strength to provide long lasting strength.
• Kevlar Webbing Single Point Tether connects helmet to restraint and offers good side to side motion during use.
• 02 Spring Clip Quick Connect makes it even easier to disconnect the device from the helmet.
• Belt Channel with Wings accepts 2” or 3” belts.
• Replaceable Padding is easy to clean and/or replace for continued comfort.

Helmet Post Mount Kit

Set of the helmet post mount kit for the Z-Tech Sports Series 1A head and neck restraint device to outfit your spare or secondary helmet as needed. One helmet-mount kit is included with the purchase of a new Z-Tech device and this kit will serve to outfit a second helmet.  Helmet post kit will include 2 mounting screws, 2 posts, 2 post base washers and 2 internal backing nuts.

The Zamp Z-Tech Series 2A and Series 6A head and neck restraints share the same SFI 38.1 certification and Advanced Axis Adjustment system, allowing drivers to customize fit through adjustable shoulder width, arm width, and arm angle settings. The main difference is the rear frame design and tether configuration. The Series 2A features a standard short-back frame with traditional straight tethers, providing excellent forward protection and a conventional range of side-to-side head movement. The Series 6A uses a taller high-back frame, approximately two inches higher, along with angled tethers that create a more natural harness pull angle. This design increases side-to-side head mobility and offers a less restrictive feel while maintaining the same level of safety certification. The Series 2A is slightly lighter and more affordable, while the Series 6A is designed for drivers who prefer greater comfort and head movement during racing.

The Series 2A is the ideal choice for racers looking for an affordable SFI 38.1-certified head and neck restraint with a compact, low-profile design that sits closely behind the neck. Its short-back frame and traditional tether system provide reliable protection while offering a comfortable fit for drivers who prefer a straightforward, budget-friendly safety device.

The Series 6A is better suited for drivers who feel restricted by traditional head and neck restraints and want greater freedom of movement in the cockpit. Its taller rear frame and angled tether design increase side-to-side head mobility, allowing for easier head rotation while maintaining proper restraint performance and crash protection.
