The Perfect Solution For Separating Your Race Rubber From Your Wheels
This simple, portable tool works great for quickly breaking down tire beads track side or back at your shop. The tool has rubber cushioned handles for easier use when applying leverage to break the tire bead away from the wheel's bead seat. This wide-foot model is zinc coated and spreads the load over a larger area of the tire, which is especially helpful on soft sidewall racing tires. It is designed for 15-inch wheels, but can be used with smaller diameter wheels by shortening the hook bar length and cutting a new hook location. For wheels larger than 15 inches in diameter a longer hook bar will need to be fabricated. You can find this bead breaker in our value added tire install/removal kit too with everything you need for servicing your racing tires and wheels.

The Beast
Will never try breaking my tire beads ever again without this tool. Using the old school system just damages your bead and rim. You still may scrape your rim but minimal to no damage especially since I have aluminum beadlock rims. Take your beadlock off first then flip over and use this on the other side. Hook in and hold your one foot down across the part running horizontally across your rim. Make sure you're in deep enough to the bead and pry. Once you see you're slipped past the bead stop and keep working your way around the rim. I can have my bead broke of the rim in 30 seconds. Don't worry if it's taking long, some are tighter and can take a few minutes. First one I did took me about 10 minutes. But once I got better it's like cake. Do yourself s favor. Buy this!

Damaged bead seats on aluminum rims
There's a five star review that mentions using this aluminum beadlock rims so I thought I'd give it a try on ordinary aluminum rims. Big mistake! Every one of my bead seats were gouged so deep that I had to file them smooth before mounting tires.
