I purchased this unit for a 1959 Edsel Ranger 2 door hardtop. If you know these cars, it is basically a glass house. For how small this unit is it will make the cabin like a freezer. I absolutely love it and the mother of pearl matched the lowrider theme of my car. The heater side of it works very well too, however it does not do defrost

From looking at the rear of the unit it appears that the hose connections do not extend past the blower motors when installed is this correct? THANKS, bob
