I'm using this for a 49 Dodge pickup. Totally outside the realm of this application but it's what I needed and I'll modify it for my own purposes. Thick plate, sturdy, well made. I'm sure it fits well for its intended purpose.

Hi, I have a 39 Ford deluxe with an 8ba engine and Fenton headers. The header clearance at the steering box is nearly touching and I'm sure it's cooking the box. What are my steering box options with trying to keep the traditional look of a Kustom (no mustang II) with somehow modifying the location of the box? Thank you

I have a 37 ford sedan that I want to try and reduce the play in the steering wheel. I have a small block chevy with block hugger headers. The original steering box is real close to the headers. If I bought this adapter and a vega steering box do you think it would fit? Thanks, Alan

Have a 37 Ford PU, boxed frame and 350 SBC. it is now down to frame so can't really measure anything. Will this allow vega steering box mounted to frame and not impact the motor mounts of the 350 engine? thanks.
