The New GV-V Head Assembly: perfect for the trucker, the racer, and the vast majority of grooving applications. The GV-V Head Assembly is a "V" style head assembly that can hold Van Alstine "V" and "G" series blades, taking this "V" style head assembly a step further than what is used on the V100 Tire Groover. The GV-V Head Assembly comes standard on your GV1000 groover and utilizes patented "V" Technology. This new and innovative blade-holding technology offers several functional advantages. It provides an unobstructed view of the blade and includes a "sight guide" which is a feature introduced with this system. As a result, following an existing groove or creating a new groove can be done effortlessly with extreme precision. In addition, blade changing and adjustment is incredibly easy and quick. Rugged and dynamic, this tool and head assembly is the perfect fit for the trucker, the racer, and the great majority of other grooving applications. The GV-V head assembly is compatible with all Van Alstine "V" and "G" series blades, meaning it has the ability to hold blades and cut grooves from 1/32" to ¾" wide. Interchangeable Accessory Head Assemblies – taking versatility to new levels

The GV1000 has the widest range of cutting capabilities provided by its interchangeable head assembly feature. Simply by loosening two screws, head assemblies can be changed in seconds. This provides the GV1000 with the ability to match any grooving requirements, from the mud bogger to the dirt biker.

The GV-G Head Assembly: the most universal head assembly with the ability to hold V, G, and HG blades

This head assembly is compatible with Van Alstine HG(Heavy duty) series blades giving it the ability to cut a groove up to 1" wide. Prior to the new GV1000, the G- style head assembly was standard on our line of G1000 groovers. This head assembly has proven itself by being a major factor in the success of these groovers and its record of durability and functionality speaks for itself. It is the most universal head assembly with the ability to hold Van Alstine’s V, G, and HG series blades. As a unique feature to this head assembly, blades can be changed and adjusted with the simple turn of an incorporated lever. Also, this head assembly can cut the widest range of groove sizes from 1/32" to 1" wide. However, it does not provide the level of visibility that makes the V-style head assembly so advantageous.
