VTAc Tach – The Game Changer for Sprint Racing

VMAC tachs provide great customer service support

I had an issue with a used VMAC tach we purchase from another racer. I reached out to VMAC team for troubleshooting support and they provided me great customer support and they were very responsive to my questions by e-mail and phone and we were able to repair my tach. Thank you

We run these tachometers in both of our sprint cars they are very good because of the number of laps they record.

Best tach we've ever used

Really great tach and great customer service. Easy to use once it's all set up. Using on a 360 car and it's great having the high and low rpm recordings to help tune the car on corner exit speed, etc. Would highly recommend.

Customer Support is excellent

This tach is very intuitive; using on an ASCS 360 with internal Vertex mag, it really helps in adjusting gear ratio to keep the motor in the power band as it gives you the low RPM on corner exits. When my tach (which is approx. 7 years old) started to give low RPM readings of 400-500 RPM, I contacted VMAC by email. Dawn explained the diagnosis/repair procedure very clearly and I shipped it out to the company. After a speedy assessment of the problem they gave me my options which included a software update and hardware replacement to bring my tach up to current standards. They fixed the issue and returned my tach with 2 day shipping so I had it for my upcoming race. I can't say enough about the VMAC company, they really went out of their way to get me back on track. It's hard to still find quality companies that stand by their product and take care of us racers. Thanks VMAC for the help this year!

Great TACH - best we've used !

We were looking for a tach that would give us a lot more into - and found this on-line. We called the manufacturer ( not at the number listed at speedway btw :) via their website - and got great service with lots of further info on how it works, who runs it, etc. So we bought for the 2015 season, and have loved it! we can see not only the High we hit, but lows - and also how the track and driver are doing through the WHOLE race.

Purchased this item via the Web. Communication and delivery from speedway was great and on time. We installed this tach per the enclosed instructions and it did not register anything other than 0. As the instructions indicated, we changed the wires around and nothing. We checked the battery as the vtac website recommend. I contacted speedway. They were very pleasant but told me I had to work with Dawn @ vtac. I called her 3 days ago (called her 4 times since) and every time it goes straight to voice mail. I have left messages with no reply. Speedway is great, vtac, not so much.

Love this Tach - best I've used!

I've used this tach for a couple of seasons - I found it while looking for a different tach that would give us more - no-one here at the time was running it, so it took awhile to find out if it would work for us. now I wouldn't want to be without it! I would like bigger numbers - but I don't look on the track, and will give that up for all the stored laps. We can get a whole race and see how our RPM and lap times compare. It is the only thing close to an onboard computer...that's legal!
