I would buy this product again.
It would be helpful if it was mentioned that the pivot point of the hinges needs to be at least level with the top edge of the trunk lid. Perferably above it or the trunk won't open. No instructions came with them. A fair bit of geometry was involved. Made them work finally.

More Work Ahead
OK. It looks nice in the box. I bought the stainless steel because the zinc was out of stock and I didn't want to wait. It's exactly as the picture shows. It's pretty. That said, "universal" does not mean "easy" or "quick" mounting. There's going to have to be a lot of new modifications to the trunk area to get these to align and work properly. There's no consideration that the mounting locations won't be flat and parallel on both the car and especially the trunk lid. If I were building this product, I'd add a self-aligning pillow block bearing for the bracket that bolts to the trunk lid. It's a good product, but it just creates one more "to do" for the project.
