This kit fits inside your door and uses an internal motor to operate your car’s original crank window mechanism. Our kit includes 5 adapter shafts that fit most popular window crank handles. Once installed, rotate the window crank handle 15 degrees to lower or raise your windows, it’s as simple as that!
Ultra-Slim Unit Fits Most Doors
Designed in the USA, the unit is enclosed in an ultra-thin, billet aluminum housing. The slim design is the smallest system on the market — the housing is just 3” x 2.65” x 0.62” thick, and overall dimensions are just 3” x 2.94” x 0.70” thick, so this will fit in nearly any door. A dead lock stop design is built for a lifetime of usage and is backed by a manufacturer’s lifetime warranty.
Detailed installation and wiring instructions are included, For 12-volt systems only. Sold individually, one switch/motor assembly needed per window.

T his product is the first time I have seen it on the market. I am very impressed with it. My only comment is that the wiring should be the same as the universal electric windows. It takes a little longer for such a simple piece.

I had a lot of problems with these switches,after trying several I returned them, Speedway gave me full credit. I went to a different Mfg. they cost a little more but they come with color coded wiring and wire connectors to hook to switches. You will need to go to a different supplier to get them. They do have higher quality switches and they wont come apart when you are mounting them. They don't stick when you use them.

When installing the switches, I shorted out one of the micro switches. Use insulated connectors when you install. In finding a micro switch, I was referred to a supplier. It was four days, including a weekend, later that I got a return call. The fellow was helpful and I was able to purchase a micro switch. The fellow also recommended that I add an AutoLoc WC1000 for each switch to increase the life of the Universal Switch. I added the AutoLoc and the windows are working well. I don't know yet how well they will hold up.

For the money this product is not very good. I had two problems 1) shafts do not fit the switch or the handle, had to grind them to fit. 2) when you remove the mounting screws the switch come all apart, you have to try and hold the unit together and place it on the back side of your door and keep it all together not easy. (why can't they add a couple screws to hold the unit together so you can take the mounting screw out and the switch doesn't fall apart).
