Nice mirrors for the right application
These are very nice mirrors and on another vehicle they would be superb. Unfortunately for my 1968 Austin Healey Sprite they will not work. This car does not have a mounting surface suitable for these to clamp onto. In my determination to succeed I marred the rubber mounting pads for one mirror and did not feel that it was proper for me to do a return.

Have now used these on two different cars and they work great. They will clamp on to a surface about 3/16" of an inch and the set screws seem to hold them in place fine.
