Return PolicyIf you are building a lightweight car like a "T" or an "A", mounting the body may present a problem. These neat expanding rubber universal body mounts allow you to drill a 3/4" hole in the top of the frame, insert a 3/8" coarse bolt, tighten, then the body is mounted.
Not recommended for cars newer than 1934.

Customers have praised our product's quality, usability, and safety, particularly for models such as the 1929 and 1923 T Bucket builds. They commend its versatility, highlighting that it works well even for unrelated applications. Some users suggested a larger pad for the body to sit on. However, the compact size matched perfectly for many models. The mounts were reported to isolate the cab from the frame effectively, and featured a commendable 3/4' frame hole size. Although there were isolated incidents of the nut separating from the rubber, the general consensus is positive. Customers will continue to use this reliable product and recommend it for its simple design and functionality.

Looks like a good quality part
I bought these body mounts to use on my 31 coupe. They are advertised to be used in a blind spot that you cannot get to on the back side. I had intended to use them even in places where I could get to the back side to install a fastener. They look like they should work OK. From the picture, I thought that they were much larger than they turned out to be. I think that they will still work but I may have to use regular body mounts in a few places instead.

Does the job
This product works very well for what it is designed to do. I would suggest some extras on hand. I have had some that the nut inside has broken lose from the rubber and did not expand to tighten down. Over all a good product and I will continue to use them on other progects.

The description indicates these are for small T-Bucket types of applications but I used on 38 Chevy PU cab to better isolate the cab from the frame. 3/4' frame hole size is great for most applications that don't already have larger holes. I think the mounts work fine but I ended up adding additonal pad around the actual mount pad as the 1-1/4" surface area is pretty small for any body mount.
