Reflections on a great product
I needed a second mirror for my recently purchased 1949 Austin Devon gasser tribute. Ideally I would have found a period piece to match the existing "patina" on the driver's mirror but the 4" 'peep' mirror from Speedway almost exactly matched the size and stem curvature of the original. Once mounted, it looks great and its adjustability even makes it practical. I did drill slight indents into the door pillar, prior to installation, to give the Allen screws a better 'bite point.' The installation seems to be solid and I am more than pleased with the quality.

hard to adjust
one small screw to set the position of the arm, mount the mirror to the door with the screw snug but not tight to get the mirror set where I want, now take the mirror off to tighten the screw without moving the arm where I have it set, and then try and get it back on the door in the same spot. worry about that one little screw holding over time with the vibration and wind when the wife and I cruise the interstates at 70 mph

These mirrors were purchased for a 37 Ford pickup. They arrived, on time. They came packaged appropriately. They are of good quality and easy to install.

The mirror looks very nice and actually matches up quite nicely to the typical swan-neck mirrors found on prewar cars. I used this one to add a mirror on the passenger door because you couldn't see a mirror in the stock location on that side. It worked great. I mounted it temporarily with the clamp to find a good position, then removed the clamp and mounted it permanently.

Liked the fit of the mirror but the chrome was rough

The fit was what I wanted but the chrome on the swan necks were rough and marked, did not want to go through the hassle of shipping back or reordering, another product not made in USA

If somehow I needed to replace one I would.
