For Nearly All Flat Glass Applications
Our universal power window conversion kit will work for many classic cars and many custom applications that use flat glass windows, but to make sure our kit will fit your vehicle, here are the important dimensions:
- Glass must extend down into the door a minimum of 1-1/2” for attachment to the regulator. If current glass is too short, new glass will need to be sourced at a local shop.
- Tempered glass is highly recommended as it’s both safer and stronger than normal glass
- 16” straight up and down travel
- Must have a minimum of 1” clearance between glass and door to mount regulator
- Tracks measure 20” long x 1-3/8” wide
- Motor measures 5” wide x 6-1/4” long
- Kit has an overall depth of 2-3/8”
- Recommended available depth in door cavity of 2-1/2”
- Must have a minimum of 7” below the glass when the window is at its lowest position
Easy Installation
A flexible actuator makes this power window kit ideal for an upgrade to a classic car or a custom street rod build. Pre-wired pigtails and wiring harness plug directly into switches and motors for easy, trouble-free installation. OEM style DPDT rocker switches with texturing on the down window side, make operation by touch simple and keep your eyes on the road. Switch bezels are included for a clean installation. Use of our 40 amp relay is suggested.

product is easy to wire anworks smoothly woul use it again.
I installed the unit in a1951 Dodge B3. Not an easy install. When I did get the first side in, the other side was easier. The Dodge installation was mdae difficult because of a lack of room inside the door.

OK for some but description details are incorrect
Says this is for use with glass that is 6" to 24".... but there is only a MAXIMUM Range of travel of 17.5". So if you need to roll a window up/down more than 17" you cannot use this kit.
