I installed this on my 1926 T roadster, which has a Ford 9" axle with drum brakes, with a reproduction model A brake handle run through a custom made bell crank to accommodate the space constraints of the car. The stock cables from the 9" were not going to work due to suspension and exhaust routing. This kit is easy to install (especially if you have experience with bicycle or motorcycle cabling) and your routing options are limitless. This solved my packaging issues, and the brake handle has a smooth, solid feel!

I'm currently restoring/improving a 1964 Chevy K10 Pickup Truck and part of this process was upgrading the brake system to 4 wheel disc brakes…. The stock emergency brake cables would not work with this upgrade so I purchased the emergency brake cable kit. The kit is excellent to complete the upgrade. Easy to adjust the length, easy to install. The additional brackets that are supplied were all that was needed. Highly recommend this kit for anyone upgrading there emergency brake system!!!
