I purchased this for a project I am working on and needed to return because of a small size issue. Company except return instantly. Even though I had to return this item the response and service was stellar. I will seek this sell out for future purchases.

Installed on the rear of my 1956 dodge rat rod in place of the original leaf springs. Nice that they were already painted a cool silver. They are long enough to get 4 springs if you wanted, but I wouldn't recommend because both ends are ground flat. Worked great for my needs, great price also.

Buy a pair and get four (cut in half), Works fine on a light rod like a T-Bucket. Caveat: do not use a torch.

cut spring If I cut the spring down to a shorter length, does that effect the rating? Or is the rating for the coil itself no matter whuch 1 inch compresses?

These springs are 175 rate..is this per spring or the pair? Does this mean 175 pounds compress the springs 1 inch ? I bought the basic coil spring kit 916-49020 for a T-bucket
