Factory instrumentation leaves a lot to be desired, even in today’s newer vehicles. However, it was a guess as to what was going on under your hood when you think about the factory gauges from the late 1960s and early 1970s. Most cars and trucks had basic “idiot lights” to warn you of low oil pressure, high coolant temperature, or a failing charging system. Once these lights came on it was often too little too late and the damage was already done to your engine. Having an actual gauge in your dash versus these lights is preferred, however after decades of use many of these factory gauges no longer work either. Whether you have warning lights or inoperative factory gauges, adding this C10 under dash gauge panel to your C10, Blazer, or Suburban is the perfect budget saving solution to ensuring you can faithfully monitor your engine’s critical fluids and charging system with ease without the expense of updating to in-dash C10 aftermarket gauges.

Solid Construction and Ease of Installation Makes Our Gauges a Winner

When we set out to build the typical three-gauge under dash panel we wanted it to be anything but typical. No plastic lens face or basic chrome dial here. Our gauges feature real glass lenses with stainless steel bezels for a long service life and great period looks under the dash of your 1967-1972 C10, Blazer, or Suburban. The black face and mint green font with orange pointers match the original dash gauges for a perfect OEM-looking upgrade while the clean white LED perimeter lighting makes our gauge panel easy to read at night.

You don’t have to worry about coolant or oil lines running through your firewall to our gauges either. While many under dash panels use lower cost mechanical gauges ours are designed as an electric triple gauge set with easy to wire sending units which provide accurate measuring of your engine’s coolant temperature and oil pressure while also providing system voltage reading. Furthermore, these gauges provide a numeric range for immediate monitoring versus the factory gauge’s vague “low” and “high” callouts, and that’s if your C10, Blazer, or Suburban even had the optional gauge package. New temperature and pressure ranges are ideal for today's builds as well.

Lastly, if you do have the factory gauge package know that the oil pressure gauge is a mechanical unit as well with oil line passing through the firewall and the charging gauge is an ammeter, which are known fire hazards, especially with modern high amp alternators. So, even if your C10, Blazer, or Suburban has the factory gauges we highly recommend bypassing them for modern electric versions like our under-dash gauge panel which utilizes an electric coolant temperature gauge and oil pressure gauge along with a true modern voltmeter.

Our aluminum mounting panel is coated in a rich black anodized finish to blend with any interior and allows the three 2-1/16 gauges to be fitted easily using the included gauge clamps. Mounting hardware for the gauges and gauge panel are included, along with required sending units and electrical terminal for the water temperature sensor. All you must do is provide the tools for the installation and sufficient wire lengths and crimp terminals to connect the gauges to power, ground, and illumination circuits in your truck. No additional filters, adapters, or driver modules are required. These C10 aftermarket gauges run as-is right out of the box.
