UMI Performance 403534-B Details

UMI Performance solid sway bars are designed to reduce body roll, understeer and increase cornering capabilities resulting in a more balanced suspension. The 1.250" front sway bar is 400% more rigid than the factory 7/8" front sway bar and comes complete with new Energy Suspension end links and greaseable sway bar bushings. The rear sway bar is 1" solid and is supplied with new grade 8 mounting hardware. UMI Performance sway bars are manufactured from 4140 chromoly steel and formed as one piece to ensure maximum strength and performance. The rear sway bar is heat treated to maintain longer memory than a cold bent sway bar. The front sway bar is CNC bent for a precision fit. Kit is available powder coated bright red or gloss black for a durable long lasting finish.

I bought this kit for my 1970 Chevelle Malibu after upgrading to UMI tubular control arms front and back. The kit was comprehensive with all the parts I needed. The instructions were great but simple, and the install was a breeze. The whole thing only took me an hour and a half or so start to finish, including jacking the car up. The difference in ride quality was huge and far more than I expected. The body roll was significantly reduced and handling improved a lot!
