Rear Lower Position, Tubular Control Arm Style, Steel
Replace your weak, factory stamped lower control arms with UMI's single adjustable tubular setup. These direct bolt-on replacements minimize wheel hop, improve cornering while lowering ET's and helping track consistency. The spherical rod end allows for a “bind free” operation allowing the rear end to articulate properly making these a great upgrade for both your track and auto cross driven car. The supplied polyurethane bushings are designed to be bolted to the vehicle chassis for a quiet comfortable operation as they absorb unwanted road noise. Control arms are constructed of drawn over mandrel tubing, 4140 chromoly threaded tube adapters and are completely CNC machined and fully TIG welded for outstanding strength. The rubber OEM bushings are replaced with grease-able Energy Suspension fluted polyurethane bushings and a heavy duty Teflon lined QA1 spherical rod end. Rear end adjustments can be made using the high quality QA1 Teflon lined spherical rod end that operates for a quiet bind free performance.
