Honestly a very well made part and good hardware for so little money. You could possibly make them yourself for slightly less money but what about the 2 hours labor that it would take to do that? So just buy them and use them. I did and I'm completely happy...

What kind of steel are these clamps made of? Doesn't appear to be chrome moly or stainless. I can drill them and I can file them easily but lord knows I can't MIG weld anything to them! I needed to weld a tab to them. Any help would be appreciated...
