Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate the product's high quality and usability. Many have found it easy to install, solving their car's signal problems effectively. They complimented the good fit and good look in-vehicle. It's especially praised as a great replacement that works perfectly in aftermarket columns. Some claim it's superior to competitors due to the well-fitting parts and the company's excellent customer support and warranty. Nonetheless, a user reported a mismatched wiring harness. However, most consumers express overall satisfaction with its performance and would purchase again.

Fixed my hazard flasher issue

Had an issue with a damaged hazard switch in my existing column, that disabled the turn signals as well. This replacement switch assembly corrected all issues. The contacts need to be removed from the pin side on this harness, instead of from the wire side, using a small (jeweler's) screwdriver to unlock the pins.

I would not recommend this product.

The wiring harness connector did not match the connector on the speedway steering column… both are GM style but there was enough difference between the two that they would not connect. As with a lot of these products different manufacturers use different companies to make some of their parts which leads to problems like this. I had to remove the wires from the connector and use my old one to make it work. We need better quality new parts that don't have to be modified or "fixed" to complete a very simple job. Its getting worse and worse all the time!!! I have to say I am well pleased with the abundance of products/ parts that I purchase from Speedway.
