    Questions & Answers

I upgraded a 1964 C10 2WD pickup to power steering using a gearbox from a 1972 Chevy C10. Will the 850 psi from the Tuff Stuff 5552 be enough for the 1972 Chevy C10 gearbox? I heard the newer gearboxes require higher pressure. If I need more pressure, what is the number for a high pressure valve with similar dimensions to the Tuff Stuff 5552?

Will this 850psi vavle work on a Billet Specialties #12025 Saginaw Chevy style pump? It's on a 55 chevy that has a Mustang II rack and pinion. From what I read the pump is preset at 1200 psi. The steering on the car is all over the place and over reacts to the slightest movement. Should this valve fix that? Or at least help it? Thanks Bob

Will this work on a stock type 2 GM pump. The original application was for a 85-86 chevy cavalier.
