Step Up Your Racing Program With Our Tru-Coil Racing Springs®
While racing in any form takes talent behind the wheel, you also need quality components in your race car to ensure you make it through the race and to the winner’s circle. From your racing engine to the tires that touch the track surface, each piece of your race car must be considered and evaluated for your racing program. This is nowhere more evident than in your suspension setup and especially tour front racing springs. When it comes to oval track racing, especially limited classes that use OEM-styled pieces like Hobby Stock or Street Stock, your suspension and especially your spring rates, are critical to overall handling, weight transfer, and more.
Made From High-Strength Chrome Vanadium Steel To Maintain Consistent Spring Rate
When setting up your race car’s suspension the last thing you want is for your front coil spring rate to change due to a weak or inferior quality spring. Our Tru-Coil Racing Springs® are cold wound from high-strength chrome vanadium steel and cycle tested for durability. This provides for consistent spring rate while maintaining free height under repeated compression, perfect for the rigors of oval track racing week after week with no change in spring rate that will affect your handling on track. Each of our Tru-Coil springs feature a 5.534-inch outside diameter and an 11-inch free height. One end of the spring is ground flat for proper seating in the spring pocket, and every spring features a durable purple powder coated finish with white Tru-Coil logo and spring rate for easy identification.
These race car springs are available in 900, 1,000, 1,100, and 1,200 lb/in spring rates and are compatible with weight jacks and shims to help you dial in the perfect suspension tuning for your track conditions. Tru-Coil Racing Springs® are an excellent value for your racing program, allowing you to mix and match front coil spring rates or quickly change your front racing springs for different rates for various racing conditions or other testing needs. Besides the popular Metric chassis applications (82-88 G-Body), these 5.5-inch diameter stock car springs will also work for 73-77 A-Body, 75-79 X-Body, and 70-81 F-Body based racing chassis. Tune your Hobby Stock, Street Stock, or Stock Car racing chassis with our full line of Tru-Coil Racing Springs® exclusively available at Speedway Motors.
