Overall Assessment

Customers greatly appreciate the product for its quality and practicality. They confirm that it is well-built, unique, easy to install, and worth the price. Users find it significantly upgrades their cars, especially those restoring vintage models. Even with minor cosmetic issues like weld spatters, customers agree that they can be easily addressed. A few customers suggested that the product could benefit from some attention to details, but overall, the reviews highlight the user-friendly design, sturdiness, and cool vintage look, asserting that they would purchase again. Comparatively, the product is favored over alternatives that are deemed flimsier and less aesthetically pleasing.

Sturdy but need attention to details

I was a little disappointed in the attention to detail for these. The welding looks okay but I would have expected it to be better. Obvious grind marks that you can see through the paint. Other than that, they are really nice and the welds are solid. It's just cosmetic but that would be a problem if they were going to be more visible on my car. I would recommend these but if they were going to be visible I'd spend time working on them to get them cleaned up to repaint. For the price, they are nice but I expected more, just from past orders.

Ok but need cosmetic attention.

Good alternative to making your own brackets. These appear to be stamped parts so one side is nicer than the other. Since both sides show, the "bad" side needs to deburred and the edges smoothed. Doing this ruins the paint/powdercoat. The design is nice and keeps the headlights low, which I like. I will definitely use these just wish the factory finish was a little nicer. Comes with all parts to mount them which is great.

I am TOTALLY satisfied. The picture shows bare metal and thats what I was expecting. There are painted black which is fine with me. Comes with great mounting hardware. They will be a great upgrade to the flimsy mounts I have now. You will read other reviews complaining of the welding spatter,if thats the case they need to spend more money. These are well built and worth the money. In most cases you will probably paint them to match your car and take care of the lttle spatter thats on them. Speedway is a great company, they would take care of any problem you have...just be honest.

How long are the 5/16 bolts and is it expected that user thread the holes? Just want to make sure that I am clear in case I want to drill across and use bolts and nuts to keep in place.
