    Speedway Motors 97331933 Details

    This brake kit includes Mustang II/Pinto brake components to fit the Track-T 1949-54 Chevy spindles. Kit features 9-1/4" rotors, rebuilt single piston calipers, pads, stainless braided AN 4 brake lines, fittings, & hardware.

    Item Details:

    • 9-1/4" rotor
    • 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern

    Application

    NOTE: Be sure to use a 2 PSI residual pressure valve in the disc brake circuit and a 10 PSI valve in the drum brake circuit. (ex. Speedway 910-31346 and 910-31348)

    For best braking results, also use an adjustable proportioning valve on the rear brake circuit. (ex. Speedway 910-31354)

    1948 Chevy with a Mustang II front clip with disc brakes. My current calipers and pads are rattling and if the clips are tightened they will begin rattling again in a few days. Does this kit mount the pads so that rattling will be prevented? Would this be the correct kit to order?

    Can rotors be provided with 4 on 4.25" bolt pattern to use stock Mustang II 13 x 5" wheels? Want to use this product on narrowed 4" drop tubular front axle with cross steer rack & pinion steering system, and 4-bar, coil over shock suspension with Panhard rod for lateral location of axle. The track width is to be 40".
