Praise was given for its ease of use, detailed and relevant information, and the clarity it brought to the conversion process. Customers also appreciate the book's usefulness for model-specific conversions and its practical, step-by-step guidance. The author was commended for his expertise in the subject. Great Guide for the 6volt to 12volt conversion

I am doing a 6V positive ground to 12V negative ground conversion on a 1948 International box truck. Wiring everything up was not the problem. I wanted to do the swap only once, and do it correctly without burning up parts or melting down wiring. Read through a lot of websites and blogs on the subject, but still had some questions as there were a number of opinions on how to do it or not, what to change or not, and everything in between. I needed something to clarify the things I read. This booklet did exactly that and made it very clear and simple to understand. Now I can tackle the conversion with confidence and know what I am doing and why.

I love the origins and back story, the book was well thought-out but this book was NOT a step-by-step illustrated "how too" book. Save your money.

The guide not only details the "What & How" for you to update your vehicle's electrical system successfully and safely. but it also explains the "Why" but explaining the way that particular components operate, often including "historical tidbits" on how older systems operated that can make an important difference in how converting them to 12 volts needs to be accomplished.

Would Recommend

A must buy, even if you never do the conversion.

Used this book, along with some other sources, for the 12 volt conversion, on my '54 Belair. Author has a firm grip on this subject. Well written and full of great info. Cheap at half the cost.

It's nice having a physical book but you can find the info online rather easily.
