The TCET18086 TKX Wide Ratio is designed to fit a wide range of classic and custom builds with little to no floor pan modification, making it an ideal upgrade for restorations, restomods, and performance street machines.
Engineered with a compact, end-loaded design, the TKX provides maximum installation flexibility while offering outstanding high-RPM shift capability. Featuring multi-cone synchronizers and hybrid carbon/bronze synchro rings, it delivers smooth, precise shifts at speeds up to 7,500 RPM—perfect for today’s high-performance engines.
Built for strength and longevity, the TKX features a rigid 3-piece aluminum housing, optimized gear geometry for reduced stress, and premium internal components designed to handle up to 600 lb-ft of torque. The result is a transmission that combines durability, drivability, and modern refinement in a compact package.
