The TCET18083 TKX Wide Ratio 5-speed manual transmission is purpose-built for the aftermarket, delivering a compact, high-performance solution for classic Chevy builds, restorations, and custom applications requiring modern strength and shift quality.

Engineered from the ground up, the TKX improves on previous designs with a focus on compact packaging, superior shift performance, and exceptional durability. Its end-loaded design allows for easy installation with minimal or no tunnel modifications, while multiple shifter location options provide flexibility across a wide range of vehicle platforms.

The wide-ratio gearing offers excellent acceleration, drivability, and cruising capability, making it ideal for street performance builds. With multi-cone synchronizers and hybrid synchro rings, the TKX delivers smooth, consistent shifts even at high RPM, while a robust internal design ensures long-term durability under demanding conditions.
