A chrome plated, steel dipstick that fits all GM Powerglide Transmissions. This model also features a chrome plated handle to match your other chrome engine components.  

Beautiful and functional, this chrome dipstick works as an OEM replacement or as a shiny upgrade for your Powerglide transmission. This fits all GM aluminum case Powerglide transmissions to manufacturer specifications. Installs by sliding the tube into the dipstick hole in the transmission.   

Tube features a shoulder that presses against the dipstick tube, telling you the dipstick is fully seated. This ensures your fluid level readings are accurate. Too little transmission fluid can lead to poor shifting, over-heating and transmission damage. Too much fluid can lead to damage due to aeration and overheating. Accurate and easy to read marks meet OEM standards and simplify fluid maintenance.  

The chrome plated handle and outer tube will make a polished addition under your hood. A must have for those showing off their vehicle at auto shows.

yes I would buy it again, works like it's advertised.

The engine transmission combo didn't have the dipstick and I needed one to mock up the floor and firewall, this was a quick and inexpensive way to solve a problem.

fit,leaked @ 1st try

Had to add some bend to get tube to set strait and seal in tranny plus addedsealer,O-ring did not seal first try cus it's too small. It dose look good now. They should not chrome the lower part of dipstick,you must sand chrome on bottom part to get it were you can see any ATF on it to check. For the cost,it's shiny and with a little work dose the job.

When I measure the trans dip stick with end loop it measures approximately 26 in. Dip stick has a # stamped into it RO 7401. This is a kit car that was built in the early 1980's. GM chassis and drive train.

Fluid level accuracy I received this dipstick yesterday and it fit perfectly but I am a little concerned about it's accuracy. The tip of the dipstick barely protrudes beyond the bottom of the tube and the level marks on the dipstick itself are actually up in the tube. This would require the fluid level in the transmission to be above the point where the pan meets the transmission. Is this normal?? This is my first experience with a TH 350 transmission. It's mated up to a 51 flathead and mounted in a 31 Ford frame.
