Ratings & Reviews

Customers appreciated the strengthening quality it had added to their frames and recommended the product to those who could remove the body from the car. Its fit was praised and the product's thickness was appreciated for allowing serious modifications while retaining strength. The product was recognized to be advantageous in extensive jobs like using T5 5-speed. A standout feature was ease of installation and compatibility with different mods, although some modifications were required for fitment. The aim of enhancing frame strength was satisfactorily met by the product. Some customers found a plasma cutter was a helpful tool but not necessary for installation.

I have used this TCI transmission mount on several builds. Works just like you think it should. You still have to drill a few holes.

We needed to drill out some of the holes in the frame due to alignment then bolted in easily.

Nice quality item, thick enough plate to allow for some serious modification and retain strength when using a T5. I installed with the body on frame by cutting a section and creating a removable panel in the floor; but would be easier and recommend with the body off if you can.

This kit worked fine but required modifications to use with a T5 5-speed. Front of lower plate needed to be notched for transmission clearance and the rounded top plate could not be used. The most difficult part was removing the 28 rivets and cutting out the center of the Xmember. Would be much easier with body off the car. Overall, worked good.

This took some time to install, skills needed. Plasma cutter is a big plus in removing the org. x member parts, but not necessay. Once done it looks great and really adds strength to the frame. I'm very satisfied with the results.
