Customers praise the product for its solid construction, ease of installation, and overall great fit, even noting its compatibility with the original '55 frame, and appreciate its comprehensive nature at an affordable price. Noted minor drawbacks include occasional mismatches with certain axle diameters and slight manufacturing slips in threading, which required some user adjustment, yet didn't deter from the overall positive appraisal of the product's quality and practicality.

I am really happy with the overall fit of this kit. It bolted right to the original '55 frame as advertised. The only reason that I didn't give this product a 5/5 is because one of the 4 spring shackle bolts came unthreaded on one end. (obviously an oversight in the machine shop) Also the shock mount bolts that attach to the axle portion had to be re-threaded due to poor manufacturing. I couldn't even get a nut started on ether side of ether part. Neither issue was a very big deal but it did have to be addressed before I could install the kit.

Are these parabolic leafs? If so you might want to use the same description as TCI uses. Is the stock upper shock mounting used in 55-59 Chevy pickups? Thanks!

C notch frame? I looked at the directions and I didn't see any mention of c notching the frame with this kit. My question is do you need to notch the frame with this kit? Or better yet, should you notch the frame? Thanks, Brian
