Many customers praised the product for its great fit, quality, and ease of installation, which led to a significant improvement in ride quality. The complete kit saved time and was recommended for various builds, enhancing the truck's stance. Reviews also highlighted the product's robust material and fabrication, with the directions being simple to follow. A common concern raised was the inappropriate pairing of socket head cap screws with nylon insert lock nuts. Some buyers also reported the necessity to replace some parts for the better fit, but overall, the product's performance and quality have been confirmed, indicating higher customer satisfaction compared to competitors' products.

this product needs work!
Every hole in every bracket needed to be re-drilled larger to fit the supplied hardware. The instructions say to move the rear spring hanger forward when it needed to be moved rearward. Since I'm installing a Ford Explorer rear axel and not the stock 53-56 rear end, the u-bolts and spring perch/plates are useless because they are set up for a 3" tube whereas the Explorer tube is 3.25"

The brackets themselves are extremely impressive. The welds are superb and the fit of the brackets into the stock locations is practically effortless. The directions are clear to follow but are lacking some detail. Installation was effortless. The bracket/shock cross member hardware is not of sufficient grade, all nuts are nylon insert lock nuts which are not sufficient to maintain preload, and the installation directions provided no guidance on installation torque and bolt/nut condition (lubricated/dry). Furthermore, the kit uses ASTM A574 socket head cap screws paired with nylon insert lock nuts to attach the brackets to the frame. This too is an improper pairing as the proof load stress of the nut is below the ultimate tensile strength of the SCHS. Without an installation torque spec, if over tightened, the nut will strip and preload will be lost. Plan to swap the hardware to SAE J429 G8, or higher strength, with an appropriately paired top lock nut, or other sufficient locking mechanism.

I use this kit on '53-'60 F-100's. Complete kit, saves so much time chasing down hardware. I do like to install them an additional 3" outboard. Gives a nice smooth ride, with good axle control.

The parabolic rear leaf spring kit was very easy to install along with the rear sway bar kit. It also improved the stance of the truck as it sits level front to rear. A 5 star improvement over the original heavy stiff coil springs.

Very nice kit. Easy to install. Only issue I had was with the spring hanger brackets. Kit was supposed to have 1" bolts. Came with 1-1/4" bolts. Bolts hit the inside of the brackets....too long. Otherwise very happy with the kit. Will use again.

When I went to install the Leaf Spring kit i followed the instructions and test fit everything first. My frame rails must be pinched a bit and the shock cross member didn't fit. A quick call to support, answered by Kevin, gave me the answers I needed to modify the cross member to fit and complete the mock up. Drilling information, installation instuctions, and pictures were adequate for my needs. Good, fine pitches, American made hardware included. However the 7/16-20 bolts were a little short for my needs so I purchased some that were slightly longer. Installed/setup on a '51 Ford F1. No info about ride quality yet as it'll ne a while before the project is complete.

TCI kit for what size rear axle diameter? Can you tell me what axle diameter this kit is designed for? Hopefully a standard 9" rear with 3" diameter axle housing. I've already converted my 50 F-1 pickup to a 9" and am hoping the kit left spring mounts and u-bolts are compatible with the larger axle tubes rather than the original rear. Thanks!
