Speedway Motors 715800-DISC/DISC Details

Complete your '23 T-Bucket chassis with this pre-bent Stainless Steel brake line kit. Includes all lines, proportioning valve, residual pressure valves, brake pressure switch, fittings, and hardware necessary to properly plumb the brakes on your T.

Notes: Does not work with '27 T chassis.  Also of note, due to unlimited rear axle brake combinations, this kit will not include rear axle housing brake lines, hoses, or fittings.  The kit will include the AN style brake hose to transfer from the rear crossmember to the housing.  The chassis builder/installer will then need to continue the brake line system from that point on to both rear wheels with necessary brake fitting hardware as needed.

Due to the different brakes and caliper combinations, this kit will NOT include caliper/wheel cylinder fittings.

Speedway Polished Adjustable Brake Proportioning Valve

Allows easy adjustment of front-to-rear brake bias. Universal design works on all race cars. Has a 100 to 1500 psi range with up to 57 percent pressure reduction. Includes two 1/8"-27 NPT to 3/8"-24 inverted flare fittings.

2 Pound Polished Residual Valve (Disc/Disc) 10 Pound Polished Residual Valve (DISC/DRUM)

Ever had problems with a spongy pedal or slow, unresponsive brakes? If so, you may need a residual pressure valve installed in your brake line. A redesidual valve acts like a one-way or check valve to maintain brake system pressure to eliminate the problems of a spongy pedal. This 2 PSI residual valve is installed inline between the master cylinder and disc brake calipers to keep 2 PSI of residual pressure at the caliper after the brake pedal is released. This ensures that you will have a high, firm pedal next time you press the brake pedal.

If your master cylinder is located below the floorboard, installing a 2 PSI residual valve is highly recommended. If your master cylinder is mounted on the firewall, a residual valve is generally not needed because gravity will provide a natural residual pressure within the brake line.

Our residual pressure valve features a fully polished finish with a 1/8" NPT port at each end. Use 2 PSI residual valves for disc brake applications only. Use 10 PSI residual valves for drum brake applications only.

Pressure Brake Switch

Pressure brake switch has 1/8" male NPT threads. For inline installation of this switch, use one of the corresponding tee fittings. This is a standard normally open switch that closes when actuated, at 60-100 psi.

AN3 to 3/8-24 Brake Adapter Fitting, 90 Degree

If you have a master cylinder, caliper or brake valve that has the common 3/8"-24 IFF inlet or outlet, this fitting will allow you full adjustment in a limited space.

Simply thread fitting in and tighten jam nut and you are good to go. Accepts AN3 hoses or lines. 

 AN3 to 1/8" NPT Adapter Fitting

This trick little adapter fitting is great for plumbing brakes or hydraulic clutch systems. Stainless steel to resist rust and corrosion.

Steel 1/8" NPT Male Pipe Nipple

Sometimes you just can't seem to find the right fitting for the job. These steel fittings have 1/8" NPT threads and allow you to plumb things the best way.

18 Inch Brake Line, Straight

Braided stainless covering over a Teflon inner liner. These are perfect for brake lines, clutch lines and gauge lines. These have straight AN3 or AN4 fittings on both ends. Sold each.

These high quality stainless steel, braided fluid lines have a 90° fitting on one end and a straight fitting on the other. They work well for brake lines, clutch lines and gauge lines. These are available with AN3 or AN4 fittings. Sold individually.

If you've got spherical rod ends on your vehicle, you'll probably need jam nuts. You might also need them for tie-rod ends or other types of fittings and connectors. Our jam nuts are made from premium stainless steel and they're available with right hand threads.

brake kit

This kit has all you will need to plumb the brakes on your T Bucket. But if your using a SB Ford aplication you will want to order a longer line from the master cylinder to the front end. This kit was put together with the SB Chevy application in mind.

very incomplete for the price it is

this item for what it cost is very incomplete for the price you get you should include fittings for the calipers and the rear break cylinders if drum or caliper if disk but the way you sell it you make the customer spend at least 50.00 to 75.00 more to complete the kit.

Great set up, the lines are a little short going from the brake switch to the front crossover connection. They are all pre- bent which looks professional when finished. This set up definitely requires an additional * Kit if your starting from scratch or replacing the entire brake line system. Of course, the master cylinder is always separate.

It's just ok. Just a box of parts. Since it's a kit it would have been nice if it came with a schematic. Their t bucket manual only shows you half of what comes with it. Making it confusing for someone like me that is building their t bucket for the first time.
