Ratings & Reviews
4.7
7 Reviews
Customers applaud the product for its practicality during the fabrication stage, notably providing valuable support without straining pricey shocks. It's commended for its easy integration with the Speedway MII suspension kit, offering a robust hold at ride height, and its usability in a resto-mod process. Though it is a combination of various kits, the product enhances chassis set-up. Despite a reported flaw in thread pitch compatibility, users adapted to achieve optimal results. Users were satisfied with its adaptability, even when needing customization for length. Its assistance outweighs its shortcomings, offering key advantages when compared to alternatives.

Using it as a rolling mock up while I do my frame up resto-mod. This way I don't have to continually install and take out the coil springs.

This kit is largely a combination of other kits. There is a sub-kit for the top "shock mount", which consists of washers, rubber donuts, and a nut for the top shock pin. Speedway incorrectly supplies a nut with a course thread, while the supplied stud that screws into the main shaft has a fine thread (24tpi). I had to go get a couple of correct nuts from the hardware store in order to make it work. The other sub-kit consists of the lower mount with a couple of options for the collar for the horizontal bolt. This lower sub-kit screws into the main shaft and provides some flexibility in adjusting the overall height. In my particular case, even fully extended it was too short. I ended up cutting the main shaft in half and welding the two halves together inside a tube collar, which provided the custom length I needed.
