I should have ordered one about 1/2" shorter to fit perfect. Have a friend that will cut steering shaft down to fit. Not a problem, it's always the little things that hang you up!

Added new ididit steering column. This played well in making the whole setup plug and play. Could have kept the old original unit (still worked fine) but after 50 years of use and abuse, Why?
