I was pleased with the design and finish on the 3 spacers I purchased. Finish was very shinny and using a 3",2",and 1" spacers on my Vintage Weind 3 deuce manifold with 3 Vintage Stromberg 97 large circle carbs looks great! One of the spacers was a tight fit and I had to remove a small amount of metal from my carb to fit properly. I measured the ID on spacer in question and found it was smaller than other two spacers. Quality control should have detected this problem. I can't wait to show them off at the next car show! Thanks!

I got exactly what I expected. It fit perfectly with no issues. The only thing I noticed was the finish was not absolutely perfectly smooth. I imagine from machining on a lathe not big issue as it's barely noticeable. Happy customer.

Nice machining and finish. At 2.611" it probably slips onto a 97 but is a no-go on my 94. Due to 60 years of air cleaner wear the top of my carb neck is 2.620". The bottom seat is right at 2.625". It needs 0.014" machined off of the spacer bottom ID in order to slide on. The OD at the top of the spacer measures slightly less at 2.600". A 1940 Ford air cleaner is a very loose fit, being designed for 2.625". Great looking part but you may need to machine the bottom and shim the top. Going to keep it and play with it until it fits.

When mounting on an original Stromberg 97, which end slips over the carb, the end with the set screw or the end with the smaller outer diameter? Additionally, what is outside diameter of the neck that the air cleaner fits onto? Thanks.
