Steer Clear Steering Box Drop, Brushed Finish

I'm probably not going to need another one anytime soon but

I'm putting a 1948 gmc COE on a s10 frame and with the cab and steering configuration this moves it down and back on the cab floor and it lines up perfect with the gearbox.

Sadly, the product will not solve for my specific firewall steering space issues. But had it worked in the available space, it would have been perfect. I just did not have enough room on the firewall (in width) to make it work properly.

Do you have the Channel the window sets in

This was the trick for setting up the steering in my cab over truck. Fits well with no wiggle.

Problem Solved!

I needed to offset my steering around an engine swap and make connection with a rack and pinion conversion. Worked great.

Made of good quality Parts

I used this on a project that really needed to get the steering down so it was the only real option. The ony thing is there is slop in the chain so the steering wheel has play in it. I would suggest to the manufacture to add a spring loaded idler gear inside to remove any slop or stretching... should be a simple fix.

Sure helps w/ steering clearing under hood objects.

I need room both inside and outside the firewall and I believe this will solve the concerns. I have not installed it but its going to fit. Have friends w/ one in there car w/out any problems.
