I dont know the fitment of where this would normally be used, but for my application (c20 lower control arms) there was a considerable gap on the o.d. of the sleeve. I would have preferred a tighter fit. Yes, you weld these in but I had to account for about 1/8- 1/4". I have installed everything and pressed in the balljoint but not driven. Hopefully it holds up well (balljoint tightness and fit)

I used these sleeves to weld into my Chev 1 ton lower control arm to accept a 1/2 ton ball joint . It worked so well that I'm glad I purchased additional . The Web was full of you cant use a 1 ton control arm on a 1/2 ton as the 1/2 ton ball joint is smaller , this proves you can and it just took some hunting , measuring and the ability to weld . Other than this the control arms are the same but far more HD . The upper ball joints are just a bolt in so nothing special there . Good luck on your projects
