Speedway Motors 9100859 Details

Kingpins

Complete with bushings, bearings, and locks. All standard king pin bushings must be reamed or honed to exact size after installation in your spindles.

 

Shock Mounts

New, FORGED steel lower shock mount design is stronger than the competition and incorporates a key slot to stop the rotation other brands suffer from. Machining of matching key slot into perch bolts may be required. Stud for the shock eye mount is 5/8".

  • These are cut with a 1/8th inch keyway slot, but the key stock is not included.  This can be purchased at almost any hardware/home improvement stores.

The lower shock mount takes you taking perch bolt to a Machine shop to haul a grove cut in it for a key to keep it from turn and you can't find a extra long perch bolt with a grove. So to me I got took.

Very easy to do this job. Just have a adjustable reamer. Ream till almost fitted then brake hone finish. Nice snug fit.
