Complete application specific exhaust systems are a great DIY option for increased performance and exhaust sound, but what if you’re building something custom (engine, driveline swaps, short bed conversions, etc.) or your ride is simply of the age that direct fit systems aren’t available, well then, you’re going to be building your own exhaust system. Our 180-degree U-bend exhaust pipe provides a popular bend option often required when building a custom exhaust routing to clear drivetrain or chassis components or to travel over the rear axle. This 3-1/2-inch OD mandrel bent exhaust pipe features a 180-degree bend with a 5.00-inch radius, along with enough straight section to build starter tubes or provide an area to weld or use an exhaust pipe expander for installation. The mandrel exhaust bends provide maximum exhaust flow without reduction in interior diameter. Manufactured from stainless steel, the 180-degree U-bend exhaust pipe features a uniform .065-inch wall thickness throughout with a 13.00-inch overall length and a flared slip-fit end on one leg. Cut the exhaust tubing bends as needed, and slip-fit or weld together to create a compound bend to solve your exhaust routing needs.
