Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate the product's solid build and light weight but highlight the need for some modifications for better usability and strength. The fiberglass material allows easy adjustments to fit wider frames, though some users wish the seats were naturally wider. The material's quality is believed to be optimal, although some customers found the mounting surface thin and fragile, requiring reinforcements for secure installation. On a positive note, one user compared these seats favorably with a similar product from a competitor in terms of durability. This product is recommended for its strong, adjustable, and lightweight attributes.

I used over sized washers when i bolted them in. The first time i leaned back the front corner cracked out. I had to take it out ane repair the corner. I bought 2 seats so i reenforced both front corners of both seats.

The only thing that is good is that since they are fiberglass you can modify them to widen them etc. The mounting surface is so thin and weak it must be strengthened to bolt them down. I do not understand why there is not a seat like this that is maybe 2" wider and much thicker construction available.

I purchased these seats for their light weight, strong qualities to install in my light weight sportscar. I didn't realize how narrow they were and I had to modify the sides of the seats with a saber saw in order to fit myself into them. I have owned another pair of these seats for many years that were produced by the Volkswagen aftermarket and they hold up extremely well. My original pair are two inches wider.
