Speedway weld-on Axle Housing Tie-Down Bracket, 3 Inch O.D.

If you're tired of tying down your race car (or any other ride) with axle straps, Speedway's new Weld-On Tie-Down Tabs are just what you need. The bracket are made from 7 gauge steel and are designed to mate to a 3" OD axle tube. With the addition of these, your car will have a permanent mounting point for tie-down hooks, and will no longer require axle straps to be secured. Not only will these make secure transport easier, but they will ensure that you no longer have to worry about axle straps rubbing through and breaking on any sharp areas. Brake lines, breather hoses, electrical wires, and more are commonly found on or in close proximity to the rear axle as well. With these tie-down bracket, there's no possibility of damaging any of these components with straps around the axle tubes.

Simply locate where you would like to install the brackets, prep the surface of your axle tube, weld-on, and finish as desired. Safe and secure transport has never been easier.
