Great Product but it's purchase was necessary ONLY after receiving my order of six (6) 5 gallon utility jugs (gas cans). It was at that time I realized there was absolutely no way to pour the gas out of the wide mouth utility jugs since they have extremely large openings. Rendered it impossible to fill a boat or a generator. Thus, had to come back and buy two of these spouts. The jugs should have come with a spout or at least the spout should have been offered at the time of the purchase of the utility jugs. Bought the utility jugs to transport fuel on the boat to the floating cabin where everything must be brought in on a boat. As for quality of both the spouts and the jugs - phenomenal. Extra thick construction of jugs. Especially like the square jugs as the store and transport easier and take less space. Extra jug cap is great as it allows the cap with the spout to be moved from one jug to the next without ever leaving a jug uncapped. Before using the jugs, however, check interior to ensure all plastic trimmings have been removed. No need to clog a fuel filter.

Overall the spout fits fine, but in cold weather, I tried curving the tube a bit, and the black plastic fitting instantly snapped. Might work better in summer, but too brittle for cold weather use.
