Worked well for SBC on a 31 Dodge
I had to remove the existing motor mounts on my Dodge to drop the motor 3/4" to adjust the transmission and driveline angles. The existing mounts were really tight to the header so I wanted something that would give me a little more space for heat. I tried a similar mount made by Trans-Dapt but it wouldn't work with the frame/fender overhang and it had pre drilled holes so you couldn't really adjust it. The rubber puck on it seemed weak on it. This motor mount unit put the rubber puck close to the engine so the interference with the fender was eliminated. The quality was very good on everything. The only change I would make is to provide grade 8 bolts rather than grade 5.

Nice quality but with a design flaw
It is a nice and easy way to do a motor swap,but be prepared to relocate oil filter or use a right angle adapter.

I swapped in a vortec 6.0 Ls base engine into my 1940 ford pickup and it was a perfect location , the mount is towards the front of the engine making room for the exhaust and the steering assembly. Make a cardboard template to make it easier to weld up without the mistakes of cutting it to short .

It looks like the sbf brackets that bolt to the block could be swapped side to side of the block to in essence move the frame mounting point forward or back. Is this the case? Also, could they be flipped to raise or lower the motor? (30 model A boxed frame)
