Speedway Motors 91052865 Details

Stop your rear-hinged door from coming open accidentally. These quality safety latches for suicide doors feature brushed aluminum/stainless steel construction with a built-in microswitch to activate a warning lamp or buzzer. Simply wire the alert light or buzzer up to your dash. The slide pin is spring loaded for both positions and will not vibrate out while driving. These latches will work for almost any door type.

I was able to mount these in the doors and put a hole in the A pillar just above the door latches, however the handle has no grip when it's hot or when you have been working on your car. (Please create new handle that I can purchase to replace the original one). The wire diagram on your website needs to be updated or change to match what is sold, my units has C 1. NC2. NO3. Not A B C

I would definitely recommend this product.

A bit of a job getting them in, had to take the doors apart, but once in these $100.00 parts will save another accident like my last one that cost $6,000.00 to repair the side of my car when one door opened at 40 miles per hour. Unable to place blame for just why it happened but I can put my fears to rest knowing the door will not open again with these top notch pins installed.

EASY TO INSTALL AND WORKS AS DESCRIBED.THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THE KNOBS TO TURN THEM ARE TOO SMALL AND MAKES IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN. FOR THE PRICE THEY SHOULD COME WITH LEVERS.IF YOU HAVE SWEAT OR BODY OIL ON YOUR FINGERS YOU CAN'T OPEN THEM. ALSO COULD CAUSE A SAFETY HAZZARD.
